Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your information.

Last updated: June 2026

1. Introduction

  • This Privacy Policy explains how Waasem ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our personality and career-fit assessment (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

  • Information you provide directly: your responses to assessment questions (numeric ratings; we do not collect open-ended written answers), and, if you choose to provide them at the end of an assessment, your name and email address.
  • Information collected automatically: the assessment type and language you used, and the dates you started and completed it.
  • Your IP address is used briefly and only in memory to prevent abuse of the Service (rate-limiting). It is not stored alongside your results and is not linked to your identity.
  • The Service does not require account registration, a password, or sign-up of any kind.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To calculate your assessment scores and generate your personalized results.
  • To generate assessment questions and written summaries, we use automated systems, including third-party AI service providers. Only your computed, ranked trait scores and basic context (such as assessment type and language) are shared for this purpose — never your name, email address, or raw answers.
  • To respond to you, if you have provided contact information and reached out to us.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

  • Waasem does not use cookies, and does not use third-party analytics or advertising tracking technologies.
  • We use your browser's temporary session storage solely to keep you connected to your current assessment session. This is not a cookie, is not used for tracking, and is cleared when your browser session ends.

5. How We Share Your Information

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not share your information with advertisers.
  • We share limited, non-identifying information with third-party service providers solely to operate and generate content for the Service, as described in Section 3.

6. Data Security

  • Session credentials used to access your results are stored using one-way cryptographic hashing rather than as plain text.
  • We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Because the Service does not require account registration, there is currently no automated self-service deletion process. To request deletion of your information, including any name or email address you provided, contact us using the details in Section 9.

8. Children's Privacy

  • The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

  • We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version published on this page reflects our current practices.
